Something not behaving?
Every product here is built and answered for by the same small development team. Find yours below, or write to us directly. There is no ticket maze.
Purchases & refunds
Extensions are sold through Gumroad; apps bill through Apple, which decides its own refunds. Our refund policy governs the extensions, and the answers below spell out both routes.
Privacy & data
Nearly everything stays on your device. What each product touches is listed in its own Product Schedule and Privacy Policy. Choose the exact product documents in the legal index.
Bugs & requests
Send the product name, your device or browser version, and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough to reproduce it, and the checklist below is the long version.
Before you write
Two minutes, one round tripiPhone & iPad
- The app name, and its version from the app’s own about or settings screen
- Your iOS or iPadOS version and device model
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Whether it still happens after force-quitting and reopening
- A screenshot or screen recording, if it is something you can see
Chrome extensions
- The extension name, and your Chrome version from chrome://version
- Your operating system
- The site or page you were on, if it only happens somewhere specific
- Whether it still happens with your other extensions disabled
- The exact error text, copied rather than paraphrased
Never send
- Your complete licence key, when a partial is enough to look you up
- Passwords, or a credential for any other service
- Anything in a screenshot you would not want kept in an email archive
If verification is genuinely needed we will ask for it explicitly, and say why.
Answers
From the documents that bind usHow do I get a refund on a Chrome extension?
Ask within seven calendar days of the initial one-time purchase, or of the most recent SessionSync Pro charge. Request it through Gumroad, or email team@uncommonweather.com with the product name and the email address you bought with.
That window is for changing your mind, and it is not the limit on a defect. If an extension does not do what its listing says it does, tell us whenever you find it and we will fix it or refund it, however long you have owned it.
Gumroad processes refunds under its own platform rules, and a full refund revokes the paid entitlement attached to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights always apply on top of this.
How do I get a refund on an iOS app?
Apple processes every App Store purchase, so App Store refunds are Apple’s decision to make. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID purchase history. We cannot issue or override it.
Tell us what went wrong anyway. The refund is Apple’s side of it; the defect is ours, and that is the part we can actually fix.
What if the product is just broken?
Then the seven-day window does not apply to you. Tell us whenever you find it, however long you have owned the extension, and we will fix it or refund it.
Send the product name, your Chrome version, and what happened. Fixing it is usually faster than refunding it, and it is what we would rather do.
How do I cancel SessionSync Pro?
Cancel through Gumroad, where the subscription was bought. Cancelling stops future billing after the current paid period; it does not automatically refund a charge already taken. If you want the last charge back too, ask separately, within the seven-day window.
It is the only subscription we sell. Every other product here is a single purchase with nothing to cancel.
Where does my data actually live?
On your device, in your Chrome profile, or in Apple services such as iCloud or CloudKit where a product’s schedule says so explicitly, and in whatever files you choose to export.
We do not receive your notes, calculations, reflections, proof media, calendar contents, precise location, browsing history, page contents, session cookies, invoices, extracted styles, estimates or reports merely because you use a product. Each product schedule lists exactly what that product touches.
How do I delete everything?
Use the product’s own export or delete control where it has one, or uninstall and clear local storage. That removes the local records, because that is where they were.
Purchase and billing records stay with Apple or Gumroad under their own retention rules. We may need to retain privacy-minimal legal evidence, including choice events, acceptance receipts, and related integrity records, where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Those records are append-only during active retention and deliberately contain no name, email address, IP address, licence key or product content.
I want to exercise a privacy right.
Email team@uncommonweather.com and say which product and which right. Depending where you live that can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, appeal, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your regulator.
Immutable legal evidence may be retained where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Will the Legal 5 choice keep appearing?
Accepted users are asked once for the Legal 5 material update. After that choice is recorded for the exact product Terms, Privacy Policy, and Product Schedule, the same document set does not produce a recurring prompt. A future prompt requires another material document update.
If you decline, or later withdraw an acceptance, the product stays quietly in limited mode and does not keep asking. Legal documents, support, export and delete tools, purchase restoration, and local licence deactivation remain available; you can reopen Legal & Privacy yourself if you decide to reconsider.
My licence key will not activate.
Send the product name, the email address you purchased with, and the exact message you are seeing. That is almost always enough.
Do not send the complete licence key in that first message. If we need to verify it we will ask for a partial or a secure step. No support request should have to start with your full key sitting in an email thread.
What does a “lifetime” purchase actually cover?
Access to the purchased feature tier for the commercially supported life of that product. It is not a promise of perpetual operation, of every future feature, of compatibility with future browsers or websites, or of access to different products.
We would rather write that down plainly than have it discovered later.

What happens next
We answer most messages within one to two working days. If something is broken for you and urgent, say so in the first line. It gets picked up first.
Whoever replies can read the code. There is no outsourced first tier to get routed past, which is the whole reason the answers above can be that specific.
Prefer plain email? team@uncommonweather.com reaches the same desk.
